All Pellistors employ catalytic combustion to measure combustible gases or vapours in air up to the Lower Explosive Limit (LEL) of the gas and Alphasenses' range of Pellistors are no exception. However, once again, Alphasense (UK) have succeeded in providing a high quality, innovative solution to an old problem. The Alphasense series of Pellistors are extremely resistant to poisoning and have a very low power requirement of only 190mW @ 3V. Now available in 3 sizes: CH-F2 for fixed installations; CH-A3 for drop-in replacements to existing product with improved stability and poison resistance; CH-D3 - our unique miniature size - Height 11.5mm, Ø15mm, complementing the existing and fast growing Alphasense Family of D (miniature) series sensors. All are housed in certified flameproof chambers.

Alphasense Pellistors include a matched pair of sensing and compensator pellistor beads, sealed in a 316 stainless steel housing with stainless steel flame arrestor sinter. This is metallurgically bonded to the housing for superior strength and integrity.
