International Gas Detectors (IGD) recently released their latest case study with Climavent, providing their highly reliable and accurate PID monitors for their customer. Climavent provides HVAC systems for a variety of industries, and their client had problems with paint fumes being distributed across their site via their HVAC system. They installed carbon filters into these systems to minimise the spread of VOCs around the site. Therefore, they fitted IGD’s PID gas monitors to alert management of when the carbon filters needed changing, helping keep their personnel safe. IGD provided them with 750S fixed gas detection as a solution, offering a 30,000-hour lamp life. This 200% increase in lamp life (in comparison to the market standard) offers a considerably extended operational lifespan without replacement, thus providing a lower-cost system without compromising on quality.

The 750S incorporates IGD’s piezo pump technology; this has almost no moving parts, valves or pump seals, resulting in a silent operation. IGD’s 750S PID also features an industry-first auto zero function, that provides unparalleled zero stability for the sensor. Click here to learn the full story.
