New mass spectrometry portfolio brings advanced quantitative analysis to the environmental laboratory
Nov 19 2021
Thermo Scientific recently launched the new TSQ Triple Plus triple quadrupole mass spectrometer (MS).Environmental lab managers now have access to accelerated throughput and enhanced sensitivity to cope with the ever more stringent, international regulatory criteria and the need for rapid responses when handling potential environmental and human health hazards.
The TSQ Plus increases workflow throughput thanks to superior data acquisition and polarity switching speeds. The upgraded low-mass product ion transmission efficiency improves sensitivity in many key environmental applications. The portfolio, which includes the TSQ Altis Plus, TSQ Quantis Plus and TSQ Fortis Plus MS, cis the perfect solution for a wide variety of applications. Intuitive mass calibration routines, method optimisation and world-class chromatography and data processing software solutions, have improved ease of use to address both current future analytical challenges.
The TSQ Plus triple quadrupole MS portfolio provides increased system uptime thanks to enhanced quadrupole mass stability. Its direct instrument method transfers from the existing TSQ MS portfolio to the TSQ Plus MS portfolio, thus simplifying transfers. Integration with mzCloud database provides end-users with Selective Reaction Monitoring (SRM) transition information with predicted collision energy. Integration with leading liquid (LC)- and ion-chromatography (IC) systems and software also provides powerful quantitative application solutions.
