Following its successful premiere in 2009, the second edition of analytica Vietnam is being held from April 7 – 9, 2011. For the first time ever, the Vietnamese spin-off of the international trade fair analytica is being held at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City in 2011. The new location will strengthen analytica’s presence on the Vietnamese market and further expand its network in Asia. Several of the industry’s leading manufacturers such as Analytik Jena, Merck, JSC, Shimadzu and Tramat have already registered for the fair. analytica Vietnam 2011 is organized by Messe München International (MMI) and its subsidiary IMAG (International Fair and Exhibition Service) in conjunction with the National Agency for Science and Technology Information (NASATI).
A total of 107 companies from eleven countries and more than 3,000 visitors gathered for the premiere of analytica Vietnam in 2009. "The positive response showed us that the decision to expand the analytica network in the Southeast Asian region with a separate location in Vietnam was the right one," explains Susanne Grödl, Exhibition Director for analytica.
