Bruker (USA) recently announced the launch of the SCION series of 436 and 456 Gas Chromatographs – the gas chromatographers’ choice for separations. Setting a new standard for data acquisition speed with >600 Hz per channel, these two GCs set the standard for rapid separations and greater analysis throughput. The SCION 436-GC accommodates two injectors and two detectors (one standard GC and one mass spectrometer), the perfect space-saving solution for any laboratory. The SCION 456-GC supports three injectors and four detectors, including the mass spectrometer. A rapid time-to-benefit advantage is available due to its ability to simultaneously acquire data from the four detectors.

The SCION GC range meets virtually all application requirements with the convenience of advanced Electronic Flow Control (EFC), remote access GC control, gas saving capabilities, standard configuration for time-saving and confidence, and a series of software customisation tools that allow users to develop unique calculation modules that fully integrate with the CompassCDS software.
