Three halls more than at the previous event

Around 35 percent growth in floor space

Co-location with UM EXPO and CAPE

Demand for IE expo China is higher than ever before: Growth of two exhibition halls compared to the previous event was planned from the outset – due to the huge interest, a third hall is now being opened for Asia's leading trade fair for environmental technologies. This year's edition will thus cover around 100,000 square meters at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC). IE expo China 2017 will take place from May 4 to 6.

Katharina Schlegel, Exhibition Director for the IFAT trade fairs abroad, is delighted about the positive development: "IE expo China has already demonstrated incredible growth in the past, with an extra hall in each of the last two years. But this year's trade fair beats everything and is already setting new records." One month before the show, the exhibition space for the trade fair has already grown by 35 percent compared to last year's edition. Around 1,500 exhibitors will be presenting their solutions for water, waste, air and soil in Shanghai.

To further boost the waste sector, UM EXPO, trade fair for waste treatment, recycling and renewable resources, will also be held in parallel to IE expo China. The co-location with the International Air Purification Industry Expo (CAPE) will remain as before and create synergies for exhibitors and visitors from the field air pollution control.

Visitors can register online for IE expo China 2017 until April 30. Preregistration enables faster entrance to the event.
