May 2013 marks Systech Instruments’ (UK) 30th year as one of the specialist experts and manufacturers in gas and moisture measurement. Systech’s application and technology knowledge provides efficient and specialist gas analysis solutions to the process, food, pharmaceutical and packaging industries worldwide.

Managing Director, Bryan Cummings says of the anniversary, “Our success throughout these years is testament to our employees and partners and their continued response to industry demand. The technology we produce remains a vital component for the process, pharmaceutical and food industries.”

Systech Instruments started production of zirconia oxygen analysers at the company’s headquarters in Buckinghamshire in the U.K. They continued to develop their product range for the process industry with the introduction of electrochemical oxygen analysers, paramagnetic oxygen analysers and moisture analysers.

Due to market demand, in 2002 the company entered the permeation gas analyser market presenting their range of oxygen and water vapour permeation analysers to the packaging industry.

Systech Instruments continued to develop their product range for the food and pharmaceutical market when in 2004 they launched the Gaspace Advance, oxygen and carbon dioxide headspace analyser.

In 1986 sister company Illinois Instruments was founded in the U.S. to provide a manufacturing, sales, customer service and technical support function for the North, South, Central American and Canadian market. By 2009, in addition to their Thailand facility, customer demand for Systech Instruments products in Asia led to the opening of an office in Shanghai, China which continues to grow enabling a recent move to larger offices.

Systech Instruments’ objective is to continue to invest in research and development, to develop product ranges; diversify into new application and industry areas and to always look at improving technical support and customer service whilst meeting customer requirements.
