New Member to the Team

Ohio Lumex (USA) is very pleased to announce the hiring of Shawn Wood as Director of Compliance Technology Sales. Shawn will be focused on helping customers at a variety of sources such as utilities, cement kilns, industrial boilers, and many more to monitor for mercury with sorbent traps. By understanding a customer's flue gas conditions, he will help to determine the perfect sorbent trap formulation for each client. Through his vast experience in sampling technology, he will also be able to troubleshoot customers on their systems as well as train clients on how best to sample at various sources. Shawn will be representing our Sorbent Traps, M324 Sorbent Trap Analysers, and the IRM Mercury Process Monitor which is the perfect application for Mercury Control Technology evaluations.

Shawn comes to Ohio Lumex from Apex Instruments in Fuquay-Varina, NC where he was the Director of Engineering and General Manager. He brings many years of experience with all facets of Sorbent Trap Technology. For the last few years Shawn has been rallying around the country performing presentations, baseline testings, and trainings to help clients understand what they must do in order to monitor for mercury successfully and use sorbent traps for compliance reporting. He has been educating the industry on sorbent trap technology for a very long time and has a solid foundation to help customers make sure their equipment is working properly, that their personnel is well trained, and that they fully understand the methodology as well as the QAQC requirements of the Methods.
