MultiSense is the world’s smallest QCL-based gas analyser. MirSense will be displaying this technology at AQE on stand 32. Each module fits in the palm of a hand and can measure two molecules, down to sub-ppm levels in less than one second. Applications are for stack emission monitoring, air quality or industrial process. The MultiSense combines two technological patented bricks: infrared quantum cascade lasers (QCL) and a photoacoustic cell. The great advantage of QCL lasers is that they shoot in the mid-infrared, the fingerprint region where molecules are highly detectable. MultiSense is more robust and compact than multi-pass cells, requires no maintenance and has less cross-interference than traditional NDIR techniques. Interface is done through Modbus communication protocol or through friendly user software for the lab-version demo kit. The modules are customised depending on the client’s needs for OEM integration. If required, MirSense can also manufacture just the QCL lasers for OEM integration.
