New Air Pollution Monitoring Network for India

Ecotech Pty Ltd, a manufacturer of environmental monitoring technology, and their Indian partner, Envirotech Instruments Pvt Ltd, have been awarded a prestigious project to set up a network of air quality monitoring systems throughout India. The project, under the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) Pune, will gather data on meteorological and atmospheric pollutants for scientific research.

This project involves the installation of five air quality monitoring systems in cities throughout India to monitor NOX/NO/NO2, O3, CO, Hydrocarbon, PM10 and PM2.5. These monitor-ing systems will be integrated with a central data collection and reporting system at IITM Pune.

“The IITM Pune project is another demonstration of Ecotech and Envirotech’s strong working relationship in India. By combining Ecotech’s accurate and reliable products with Envirotech’s expertise in operation, maintenance and data reporting, Indian customers receive a superior service and a commitment to quality” explained Mr Manoj Kumar, Ecotech’s International Business Manager.
