In the lab, pH electrodes are primarily used at constant temperatures. This does not apply for electrodes in the field measurement, Theses are frequently exposed to changing conditions of environment and samples which may lead to temperature effects from the reference system that can not be compensated for.

This is solved by the new SenTix® F pH electrode from WTW (Germany). It has a modern iodine/iodide reference system that shows almost no temperature dependence. With a rugged plastic shaft it is ideal for field use under any conditions.

The SenTix® F is available as an IDS electrode for the new WTW MultiLine® multiparameter instruments too.
