Video inspection is required for many industrial applications. It has proved to be essential for targeted damage repair in water and wastewater pipes as well as for the control of heat exchanger tubes and boreholes. Today it also plays an increasing role when checking machinery or installations because it is evident that predictive maintenance is generally much cheaper than reparation. Wöhler’s VIS 350 Inspection Camera offers a reliable solution to visually show what is going on in pipes, holes and machines – from blockages to leaks and cracks.

Wöhler‘s camera system is both compact and safely housed in a plastic case, making it easy to transport. The system consists of a 20 m push rod cable with reel, a detachable colour camera head with a diameter of 40 mm and a large colour monitor. The high resolution display offers a crystal clear picture so that you can see every detail. The typical Wöhler control panel facilitates easy control of the camera head: The camera pans 360°, tilts 180° and offers the best possible lighting to carry out an all-round inspection of the vicinity. After panning and tilting, the home function automatically aligns the camera angle to straight ahead with a simple push of a button, allowing operators to pan the area and then return the camera to its regular position with ease.

For a precise localisation the actual meter count and the position of the head are displayed on the monitor. A locator with radio transmitters in the camera head shows the depth and physical location of the camera head from the surface. This way you can accurately locate every detail quickly.

The camera can record video of what it sees. One quick press of a button is all that is required to 'shoot' and save a photo of every detail.
