Titan Enterprises is launching their second generation Pulsite® Link pulse and analogue converter; these devices enable users to convert common pulse output flow metres, such as Titan's precision turbine and positive displacement flowmeters, to scaled and linearised analogue and NPN/PNP outputs.
Neil Hannay, Titan Enterprises’ Senior Development Engineer, commented, “As part of Titan’s product portfolio development, once a new product has been out on the market for a time, we are able to gather data that facilitates our understanding about what the priority is for the customer, as well as identify potential improvements to product performance.” Initially launched in August 2022, the Titan R&D department has added a few enhancements to the Pulsite® Link Mark 2, updating the software performance as well as the physical design of the flow metre.
Titan’s proprietary interface software, as well as enabling the operator to configure and test the system via USB and a computer, now enjoys greater capacity for data logging, which is great news if carrying out laboratory tests and applications; increased inputs for calibration data can be entered to linearise the flowmeter signal for superior accuracy. The Pulsite® Link has been redesigned to allow the USB stick to be inserted into the unit without having to disassemble it. This facilitates real-time monitoring and data logging via a Windows PC. The newly improved Pulsite® Link is a perfect instrument to connect to customer devices for increased precision on mechanical flow devices, data monitoring, test rigs and control systems.
