Aggressive sample matrices such as acid solutions containing metal ions cause problems for most Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analysers. GE Analytical Instruments’ new Sievers InnovOx Laboratory TOC Analyser was designed to maximise uptime, using an innovative Supercritical Water Oxidation (SCWO) technique that achieves greater than 99% efficient
oxidation on difficult sample matrices. The Sievers InnovOx runs hundreds of TOC samples continuously without recalibration, system maintenance, or replacement parts.
The InnovOx also removes problematic sample matrix contamination after every analysis, eliminating salt and oxidation by-product buildup in the reactor, tubing, and valves.
The InnovOx measures TC, TIC, TOC and NPOC across a 0.5 to 50,000 ppm detection range. It is ideal for measuring organics in process water or monitoring effluent for wastewater release compliance. It is easy to use, and offers 6-month calibration stability and Web-based remote monitoring.
