Siemens Echomax® transducers are designed for ultrasonic level measurement in harsh environments on liquids or solids up to 40 m (130 ft). Hermetically sealed and chemically immune, they are impervious to
dust, moisture, corrosion, vibration, flooding and temperature extremes. The non-contacting design virtually eliminates the danger and expense of cleaning, adjusting and repairing contacting devices.
Siemens Echomax XCT-8 tranducer with a 4” sanitary flange and PTFE facing combines with Siemens controllers to measure liquids up to 8 m (26 ft) and from - 40 to 125° C (-40 to 260° F).With 3A and CSA
approvals, this transducer is ideal for use in food applications where clean-in-place and high temperatures are the norm.
Siemens Echomax XPS-30 and XPS-40 ultrasonic transducers have received
European ATEX II 1D approval. This approval certifies these devices for use in hazardous areas and conditions with explosive dust.
These long-range transducers work with Siemens controllers on applications in grain, coal, flour, sugar, and sawdust.
