Organisers WASSER BERLIN and Bulgarreklama Agency sign partnership agreement to run until 2010 – WATER SOFIA 2008 will take place from 27 to 30 May Following the successful launch in April 2007 of WATER SOFIA, the trade show for water, sewage and pipeline infrastructure in Bulgaria and throughout the Balkan region, arrangements are now in
place for long term cooperation between the organisers. This was agreed by Raimund Hosch, CEO of Messe Berlin, and Ivan Ivanov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Inter Expo & Congress Center, who signed a partnership agreement to this effect for a further three years on 4 September 2007.
WATER SOFIA is a joint undertaking by WASSER BERLIN, which is held by Messe Berlin and is the largest European trade show for the water industry, and Bulgurreklama Agency, the operator of the exhibition
venue Inter Expo & Congress Center in Sofia. Bulgarreklama Agency is the organiser of more than 30 international trade shows and conventions on strategically important business sectors in Bulgaria.
Bulgaria’s membership of the EU has stimulated considerable economic interest within the country in infrastructure, the supply of water and the disposal of waste water. With displays focusing on water treatment, sewer systems and pipeline renewal, and an accompanying convention, WATER SOFIA provides an ideal platform for the continued development of these areas.
