The New Style of Sampling Technology

Automated sample extraction is an elementary and essential part of each chemical and biological analysis. It is the first and the most important step as a basis for a high-quality analytical result.
It is not only essential for the monitoring of the water quality of rivers and lakes for research and environmental protection but also for process control in sewage plants and industrial sites.

With the P6 model series MAXX GmbH (Germany) presents a completely new, innovative generation of outstandingly designed  portable samplers. Thanks to this new generation of MAXX devices the new levels of innovation, flexibility, user-friendliness and design have been achieved for all automatic samplers.  With this new product line MAXX underlines its aim to be the market leaders in innovation and technology in the field of automatic sample extraction.

When developing the new device line MAXX focused not only on purely functional aspects but also particularly on an ergonomic and attractive design. The aim to design the lightest device of its performance class was achieved with the P6 MINIMAXX.

Beside the ergonomic construction, the new device generation excels through simple operation and excellent cleanability. A perfect thermal insulation which is essential for reliable sample results could be realised by choosing a light colour and by providing the lower part of the housing in twin-wall design with foamed-in-place insulation.

A brand new peristaltic pump, designed by the MAXX company itself, is now available with an integrated pump replacement tube .  MAXX’s pump offers outstanding features and a uniquely innovative measuring system for an unrivalled high-precision volume detection.  As an alternative, the tried and tested vacuum system is still available. 

The high-performance hardware is equipped with an extensive software which is clearly structured and easy to program. Self-explanatory symbols and clear instructions in the software menus facilitate the operation  considerably. Almost all individual program requests and operation modes can be programmed by means of the 12 available programs. Program linkages as well as parallel programs are of course also possible.

Conductivity,  pH and temperature sensors as well as an ultrasonic sensor for flow measurement are now available for the new P6 device series. They can all be connected directly. Furthermore, all standard versions are already equipped with an input for a rain gauge (digital pulse).

An optional module for LAN resp. GPRS-UMTS connection for modern communication and remote access via TCP/IP is available. The browser-based software maxxwareConnect, which is provided free of charge, completes the communication package.

With the functional elements of the maxxwareConnect software a remote access to the sampler and to all sampling data is possible. This software effectively allows remote control of the sampler and the capabilty to perform tasks such as setting of the TCP/IP parameters of the webserver,  visualisation of downloaded data, downloading and saving of data as PDF, CSV or XLSX format, printing-out of data directly as PDF format, reading out, changing, saving or uploading all sampler programs (1-12 ), recovering saved programs, backup of all pre-programmed programs of the sampler, setting and saving of programs in OFFLINE mode - uploading in online mode and error messaging by e-mail. LAN/W-LAN/Web communication is an optional extra.

Maxx’s unique combination of modern, ergonomic design and technology has set a new standard for smapling technology. Users will appreciate its innovative measuring system for volume determination for the peristaltic pump allowing a highly accurate sample volume. The P6 needs minimal effort for calibration and cleaning, it enjoys a long battery run-time thanks to “sleep mode” and  has a clear operating structure and simple programming.
