Spec Sheet Showcases Portable FlowCAM® That Travels Like A Laptop. New literature from instrumentation manufacturer Fluid Imaging Technologies, (USA) showcases the Portable FlowCAM®, a compact particle imaging and analysis systemthat automatically takes high-resolution, digital images of individual particles and cells and saves the
images with their corresponding measurements for further analysis. The informative literature describes how the Portable FlowCAM packs the complete capabilities of the company’s high speed Benchtop FlowCAM for laboratory installations into a convenient travel size that permits the introduction of continuous, real-time particle imaging and analysis to field operations. Remote monitoring and testing of water, wastewater and industrial processing lines, as well as other temporary or remote locations are highlighted as proven applications.
The literature displays actual screen shots showing particles and cells as they are detected, measured and imaged along with the corresponding data set for each individual image. The length, width, aspect ratio,
intensity, ESD and other measurements are shown visually within the company’s patented interactive scattergram and proprietary VisualSpreadsheet®, an intuitively easy to use analysis tool viewed on a simple spreadsheet that permits in-depth analysis to be performed while still out in the field.
