Water Level and Temperature Logger Simplifies Deployment and Data Collection
Jul 28 2013
The LeveLine is a self contained data-logging device that records water level and temperature continuously during its deployment. It features a highly accurate Piezoresistive, ceramic pressure sensor and a temperature thermistor, which are powered for up to 10 years by the internal 3.6V lithium battery.
Capture the water level data as quickly as 10 times per second and store up to 500,000 data records on the instrument’s built-in memory. All this technology is neatly sealed within a small, corrosion resistant, titanium housing (22mm x 186mm) that can be deployed to measure either absolute or gauge pressure.
Deployment simpler: The LeveLine is the only water level data logger that utilises the QuickDeploy key allowing you to initiate preprogrammed logging schemes as you deploy. The QuickDeploy key also zeroes the depth against the measured air pressure and checks the battery and memory levels giving simple LED indications. This simple sanity check could save you a costly mistake.
Data collection simpler: The GPS LeveLine meter is an accessory that can be used to define and initiate a logging scheme live in the field. When connecting the meter to the LeveLine logger at the time of deployment, the GPS location coordinates are embedded into the memory of the logger. This can make post-organisation of multiple units much easier as each unit has its precise deployment location embedded into it. No time-consuming serial number cross-referencing required here. Using the LeveLine PC application you can produce a Google Earth map of your deployment site with markers for each LeveLine, which will display key data when selected.
The advanced specifications of the LeveLine already make this instrument stand out from the crowd. By simplifying both deployment and data collection, using the novel quick deploy key and the unique GPS embedding features, the LeveLine should be your first choice for water level monitoring.
