OTT Hydromet have launched their latest variant of the OTT ecoLog 1000. This new model features a rugged and precise, 4-electrode conductivity measuring cell. With the addition of conductivity measurement, users can now obtain comprehensive data on water level, temperature, and conductivity in a single, all-in-one instrument.

The inclusion of continuous conductivity measurement empowers users to gain valuable insights into the impact of environmental factors on water quality. This crucial information allows them to assess the suitability of water for various applications such as drinking or irrigation, while also monitoring the overall health of aquifers.

Designed for user convenience, the OTT ecoLog 1000 can be easily operated using a smartphone, tablet, or PC through the user-friendly LinkComm operating software. The instrument utilises integrated Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology for seamless local communication. The LinkComm software provides an intuitive interface for device setup, configuration changes, and optional conductivity cell calibration in the field. Furthermore, the integrated cellular modem ensures near real-time data visibility and enables remote station configuration modifications, eliminating the need for costly and unnecessary trips to measurement sites.

Greg Koch, Global Product Manager at OTT Hydromet, commented on the enhanced capabilities of the OTT ecoLog 1000, stating, "The addition of conductivity measurement to the OTT ecoLog 1000 opens up a world of possibilities for users seeking to remotely monitor fundamental water quality parameters at multiple sites within their network."
