New Head of the Trade Fair for Water/Wastewater

"Wasser Berlin International (Germany) is dear to my heart and a topic that I am keen to give my attention." said Ingrid Maas, who on 1 August 2013 became COO of Messe Berlin. “As the meeting place of the international water industry Wasser Berlin International attracts a hugely positive response. That is because worldwide, everything concerning water supply and wastewater disposal is become an increasingly important issue. Wasser Berlin International mirrors the economic cycle of the water industry in a way that sets it apart from every other industry event.“

The management changeover also involved Wasser Berlin International, a trade fair for capital goods, coming under the supervision of the MS (Mobility & Services) Competence Center, with Matthias Steckmann as its director. With InnoTrans, the International Trade Fair for Transport Technology, and Wasser Berlin International he now has two trade fairs for capital goods in his portfolio. Project manager Cornelia Wolff von der Sahl and her experienced team will now be reporting to Matthias Steckmann.

Even though 18 months still remain between now and the event, which is due to take place from 24 to 27 March 2015, the offices of the fair’s project team are a hive of activity. One of the reasons is the attractive terms available to exhibitors who book early at Wasser Berlin International. Companies who decide soon can benefit from the Early Bird discount, and providing they book by 15 January 2014 will receive a 20 per cent discount.
