A
wastewater treatment plant in Scotland is set to be upgraded over a period of two years.
Staff from Seafield
wastewater treatment works near Edinburgh have contracted
water quality firm Biwater Treatment to upgrade the existing inlet works, replace the fine screens, handle the screening and replace the grit classification arrangement at the plant.
Martin Beale, Biwater Treatment operations manager for Scotland, said that working with its new client will give the company a chance to improve its reputation in the Scottish marketplace.
"The Seafield project has provided Biwater Treatment with an opportunity outside of normal regulatory programmes in Scotland, albeit still in the water industry," he said.

wastewater into the Thi Tinh river located in the Binh Duong Province of Vietnam.
