Alkali Environmental have achieved ISO 17025 along with the requisite MCERTS performance standard for them to operate as a recognised stack emissions monitoring consultancy.

Founded in 2018 by a former Environmental Agency officer, Alkali is now a team of highly qualified environmental monitoring specialists servicing customers in a wide range of market sectors across the UK. The company have invested considerably to equip their lab facilities with the state-of-the-art technology as well as a cloud-based data management and reporting system enabling them to provide their clients with precise data quickly and efficiently.

UKAS and MCERTS certification is often a key criteria of the UK’s regulators for reporting compliance for common pollutants, such as Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), combustion gases and odour, in stack emissions.

Alkali Environmental’s new status enables their customers to rest easy over their stack emissions monitoring responsibilities. Paul Adamczyk, Alkali’s Managing Director said "We are delighted to have achieved MCERTS accreditation, it was an important aim when starting the company and demonstrates our commitment to providing market leading stack emissions testing services across the UK.”

Dr Caroline Tabor, the company’s Quality and Compliance Manager added, “We found the assessment to be a positive process and it was great to receive affirmative feedback on our new quality system and technical procedures.”
