Record sales of 112 Litre Non-Refillable Aluminium Cylinder (112DA)

Scientific and Technical Gases (STG) are delighted to announce record sales of its revolutionary 112 litre aluminium disposable cylinder (112DA) in 2010. According to Chris Street, Managing Director “our sales of the 112DA cylinder have increased by over 200% in our last financial year. The growth is due primarily to both gas detection OEM’s and Distributors recognising the advantage of twice the gas volume as the American 8AL cylinder, for little extra cost”.

STG manufacture a complete range of calibration gases in both non-refillable and high pressure refillable cylinders at their plant near Stoke-on-Trent in the UK. All STG non-refillable cylinders are fully approved for use and transportation in Europe to ISO Standard 11118. STG have recently finished construction of its new dedicated non-refillable cylinder facility in the Stoke. This will allow the company to meet the increased demand expected in 2011 and 2012.

In addition to supply from the UK, STG has a number of strategic hubs holding stocks of non-refillable cylinders for immediate despatch in Dubai, Singapore, Sydney, Perth and Florida.
