 Scientific and Technical Gases (StG), UK, is pleased to announce the appointment of Phil Edwards (Operations Director) and Keith Jones (Finance Director) to the board of Directors of StG from the 1st March 2012. Tony Addison the founder of the company stepped down from the board following his retirement in January 2012.

In addition, Ian Davidson has moved from his role as OnStream Business Manager at The Linde Group to take up the newly created position of Sales Director at StG also on 1st March.

The company, which has been short-listed for the Sentinel International Trade Award in the Midlands, has made these changes in order to help the company maintain and develop further its success in the UK and overseas.

Scientific and Technical Gases Ltd is a manufacturer of speciality gas mixtures in High Pressure and Non-Refillable Cylinders. Its mixtures are used for a variety of applications including laboratory and analysis, emissions monitoring and gas detection. As a speciality gas company, StG can manufacture bespoke mixtures to customers’ specifications. It also holds stock of standard mixtures in Non-Refillable Cylinders for quick despatch. StG has customers in over 50 countries and can ship goods to locations all over the world. StG recently signed an agreement with Genstar Technologies to be their exclusive distributor for High Pressure Cylinder regulators and equipment in the UK.
