International Trade Award Received

Scientific and Technical Gases Ltd (UK) were recently awarded the “International Trade Award” at a Regional Business Awards evening hosted by the area newspaper to celebrate British business. StG beat the other short-listed competition from a hi-tech battery supplier and a specialist risk management consultancy to win the award based on the business’ on-going growth in export markets all over the world.

In addition, Sarah Bourne, StG’s Logistics Co-ordinator, was also awarded the “Apprentice of the Year” award in recognition of her hard work in helping StG grow and maintain its Marine Safety Market globally.

Chris Street, StG’s Chief Executive said “I am delighted that StG’s achievements have been recognised as it indicates the strength of StG’s business overseas, and reflects the hard work put in by all staff to achieve this success as well as showing how far the company has grown in developing our business through strong customer relations in recent years".
