Oct 02 2009
RAE Systems Inc. (USA) has hired William (Bill) Jackson, 50, as vice president of global marketing, who is reporting to Robert Chen, president and CEO of RAE Systems.
“Bill brings over 20 years of experience in technology businesses spanning semiconductors, consumer electronics, software and intellectual property licensing,” said Chen. “Among many projects at Eastman Kodak, Bill led a team that increased image sensor sales from $50 million to $80 million in 2005, headed software product integration, and executed licensing of intellectual property portfolios. We expect Bill will leverage his understanding of technology and positioning to help us market our next generation products.”
“RAE Systems is an industry leader in hazardous gas detection equipment and has been at the leading edge of innovation in the area of wireless toxic gas and radiation detection instruments,” stated Jackson. “Our products can assist customers in improving productivity and saving costs, and I believe we have a great opportunity to capture market share as the economy recovers and as we deliver new products.”
