Monitoring System for Combustion Optimisation and Control

MRU is a leading manufacturer of industrial process gas measurement and emission monitoring systems. The price increase of fuels is causing boiler and furnace operators to search for ways to decrease the excess air of burners to reduce the heat loss and nitrogen oxides emissions.

The new in-situ probe OMS420 is used for continuous measurement of oxygen and combustible gas concentrations in stacks of various industrial boilers or furnaces, with fast response signal, ideally suited for combustion optimisation.

Beside standard zirconium sensor for oxygen measurement, the probe can be equipped with a new technology, heated solid electrolyte sensor for combustibles COe (CO equivalent) measurement.

The OMS420 probe is manufactured to a compact and reliable, rugged industrial design, whilst being easy to operate and maintain. There is no need for reference air, this instrument performs true wet gas analysis for flue gases up to 1700°C. OMS420 offers a fast response time and low energy consumption of both O2 and COe sensors. The probe offers fast and easy servicing and sensor replacement, without removal of probe from the stack; the transmitter or sensors are replaceable in the field within a minute!

MRU offers an optional compressed air back-purging for high dust sites and optional auto calibration. Also available are application customised models like compact probe, remote transmitter probe and very high temperature probe, to accomplish various sites measurement request.
