DD Scientific, having already already developed an enviable market position in electrochemical technology for toxic gases and oxygen has now identified an unaddressed requirement for cost effective but reliable flammable gas sensors.

Based on proven, and widely used catalytic bead sensing methods our new pellistor sensors will provide high performance and robust detection of many common flammable gases such as methane, propane and butane. Benefiting from recent advances in coil coating processes the sensors will deliver minimised variation and greater resilience to environmental contamination.

The sensors will be unveiled at the Sensor and Test exhibition in Nuremberg between May 30th and June 2nd.

Commenting on their forthcoming launch, Kevin Brown, Development Manager said, “These are exciting times for DD Scientific and our customers as we continue to innovate in gas sensing technology. We have a great reputation for electrochemical sensors and our new pellistor devices will further cement our position as the number one choice for gas sensing solutions.”
