Westermo (UK) is a supplier of industrial data communications products and manufacture a wide range of industrial GSM, GPRS, PSTN and ISDN modems. We also produce fibre optic modems and RS-422/485 products. We are a market leader in the industrial Ethernet arena, supplying basic switches, serial converters and SHDSL products as well as advanced layer 3 switches. Westermo have more recently entered the wireless industrial Ethernet market with both 869MHz and 2.4GHz products.
On our stand we will be demonstrating the latest methods of remotely accessing Ethernet networks using 3G and ADSL technology. Using the Internet is fast becoming the de facto choice in controlling and monitoring remote telemetry outstations and we can show how an integrated network solution offers benefits in saving time and money.
Also on show will be a demonstration of a simple twisted pair of wires carrying Ethernet traffic…..even over barbed wire!
