New Corrosion-Proof, High-Efficiency Refrigerated Sampler
Apr 12 2010
Teledyne Isco’s (USA) new Model 4700 Refrigerated Sampler ushers in a new standard for weather and corrosion resistance. The tough, double-wall, rotationally-molded LLDPE cabinet shrugs off exposure to weather and harsh environments. It’s filled from top to bottom with insulation for efficient, economical cooling even in hot, humid conditions. The powerful 1/5 HP compressor delivers energy-efficient, high-performance cooling, and heat-treated polyester powder coating protects the entire refrigeration system against corrosive treatment plant conditions. Other features include:
Twelve different bottle configurations from 24 x 1-liter to 1x 20-liter are available to suit virtually any composite or sequential sampling application; The controller actively regulates the sample compartment temperature to 4° to ensure accurate preservation, and maintains a downloadable temperature log; A NEMA 4X, 6 (IP67) enclosure rating protects electronic components; The field-proven peristaltic pump delivers samples at the EPA-recommended line velocity of 2 ft/s (0.6 m/s), even at head heights up to 25 feet (7.6 m) and Four digital alarm outputs wire directly to a PLC or event logger.
User-friendly controls and workplace-savvy features include straightforward programming for timed, flow-paced, and flow-proportional sampling; a unique slide-out bottle rack that eliminates awkward stooping and bending to reach sample containers; and fast, tool-free pump tubing replacement. Isco’s patented liquid detection system and pump revolution counter assure sample volume accuracy.
