The use of supercritical fluid as the mobile phase in preparative chromatography offers important advantages over traditional solvents and methods. In this webinar we will discuss the basic theory of supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) and the practical choices involved in implementing it in your separations. We will also compare prep SFC to more commonly used techniques such as flash and prep HPLC. Applications currently using prep SFC will be reviewed, including chiral and achiral separations. Finally, we will examine why Prep SFC is not being used more broadly at this time, what limitations exist in the Preparative SFC market, and how that is changing.
Our featured speakers for this event are Josh Lovell, Applications Specialist, and Todd Anderson, Global Chromatography Specialist, both of whom are responsible for helping Teledyne ISCO customers solve challenging problems in analytical, flash, and preparatory chromatography applications.
From this 45-minute presentation plus interactive Q&A session, attendees will have a better understanding of the basics of Prep SFC and how and when to implement it for critical separations. Also learn how to access Teledyne ISCO’s chromatography support team at any time for assistance with Prep SFC instrument operation and methods.
