The FormacsHT-I, from Skalar Analytical (the Netherlands), is ideal for fast, reliable determination of TOC in particulate- laden samples (suspensions) such as environmental & wastewater samples. In particular for laboratories using ISO 8245, which includes a “particle suitability test with cellulose” will benefit from the FormacsHT-I analyzer.

The analyser has an 80 position random access autosampler with selectable contamination free top stirring or magnetic stirring. The samples are automatically and directly injected through a unique septumless injection port in the high-temperature catalytic combustion furnace. The automatic stirring & direct injection mechanism ensure injection of a homogenous sample. After combustion the CO2 formed is then measured using a non-dispersive infrared detector (NDIR).
