Cyanide is a frequently analyzed contaminant. The analysis of cyanide is one of the most complex and labor- intensive applications for laboratories. Skalar has a wide range of solutions for automatic cyanide analysis currently available.
The San++ analyzer, from Skalar (the Netherlands), provides automatic determination, including in-line UV digestion and distillation for total cyanide analysis. Other cyanide species can be determined as well, such as free cyanide, weak acid dissociable cyanide and thiocyanide. All cyanide applications are according to EPA or ISO methodologies.
