The heavy-duty SM 2000 excels especially in the tough jobs where other cutting mills fail. Apart from dry plant material, food, feeds or paper, Retsch’s Cutting Mill also grinds bones, household waste, electronic scrap, various plastics including preforms, as well as alternative fuels and leather.

To customize the mill for the various applications, it comes in a modular design: the powerful 1.5 KW motor is available in two speed versions; different rotor designs, hoppers and collecting systems allow for perfect adaptation to the sample characteristics and prevent undesired temperature rise in the ground product. The housing can be opened from the front and from the top for easy cleaning. Safety switches and an electronic safety check assure a high level of operator safety.
