At Pittcon 2010, P S Analytical (UK) will be focussing attention both on the application of its Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometry systems for determining mercury and the hydride forming elements and also on more fundamental aspects of the science. Applications for petrochemical analysis for mercury levels remain a significant interest. Studies for the determination of speciation profiles of arsenic in water samples will also be

described in the lecture program.

Collaborating with academic groups and the National Physical Laboratory has also focused on a more rigid validation of the vapour pressure equation for mercury, allowing measurement uncertainties to be reliably

determined. The P S Analytical product range will be presented at the exhibition on booth 3936.
