Monitor Technologies’ (USA) SafePoint® rotary paddle point level indicator with a self-validating design detects material presence plus continuously monitors its own ability to function. This analysis includes sensor health and system power failure, which makes the SafePoint truly “fail-safe”. If a failure is detected an output will indicate that this condition exists, providing you the warning needed to prevent a spill. When a high level sensor fails it could cause a silo or bin to overfill which might lead to material loss, cleanup costs and lost production. Other features of the SafePoint include rugged construction, twist On/Off cover for bolt free removal, automatic motor shut-off when paddle rotation becomes impeded by material to increase motor life, a large selection of paddles and local status indicating light (on most models). The SafePoint level indicator is ideal for use with the storage of bulk solids such as grains, powders, plastic pellets, cement, fly ash and more.
