The 797 VA Computrace from Metrohm uses cyclic voltammetric stripping (CVS) or cyclic pulse voltammetric stripping (CPVS) for the determination of all types of organic additives (brighteners, suppressors, levelers, etc.) in electroplating solutions.
In addition to the CVS mode stripping voltammetry can be used for the
voltammetric trace analysis of metal ions and other substances in plating baths.
The 797 VA Computrace is a modern voltammetric workstation connected to the PC via USB port. The complementary PC software controls the determination, records and evaluates the measured data. The integrated new designed potentiostat/galvanostat guarantees highest precision with reduced noise. The well proven Multi-Mode Electrode (MME) as well as
rotating disk electrodes (RDE) from different materials are available asworking electrodes.
Operation of the unit is unbeatably simple. All themethods that are described in the Metrohm application bulletins and application notes are already pre-installed.
