New State of the Art TLC Aluminium Sheet  

MACHEREY-NAGEL (Germany), the manufacturer of TLC plates, sheets and adsorbents is proud to present their new TLC product ALUGRAM Xtra. In response to the active feedback of TLC users, an established and well-known product - TLC aluminium sheets – is simply made a significant step better!

ALUGRAM Xtra SIL G aluminium sheets are covered with unmodified silica from own manufacturing. The new product shows an outstanding wettability, even for 100 % aqueous visualisation reagents. It is easy and perfect to cut without any flaking of silica during every kind of cutting process. An excellent separation efficiency and reproducibility from lot to lot features this TLC product. The newly developed binder is a highly polymeric product, which is stable in almost all organic solvents and resistant towards aggressive visualisation reagents. The binder system for ALUGRAM Xtra is also completely stable in purely aqueous eluents. Thus, these TLC aluminium sheets offer a broad range of applications.
