LED Microsensor NT (Russia) introduces a new MDS-4 optical sensor module for methane detection. Based on the unique components – middle-infrared LED and photodiode – this sensor possesses low power consumption, fast response time, compact sizes and can be integrated in your analysing system with minimal efforts. An improved optical cell provides the ability to detect methane concentration down to 100 ppm. Owing to the reduced power consumption the module is applicable for use within wireless sensor network systems
