Release of a New Family of On-Board CH4 Evaluation Systems

LED Microsensor NT LLC (Russia) are happy to announce the release of their new family of on-board CH4 evaluation systems – MDS-4. These evaluation systems give the opportunity to easily test the capabilities and applicability of light-emitting diodes and photodiodes produced by LED Microsensor NT LLC. Thanks to the new on-board design and optical system optimisation the new evaluation system requires minimal effort to carry out CH4 detection experiments. MDS-4 is based on the couple of an LED and a photodiode with peak wavelength of 3.4 µm, where the absorption band of methane is present.

LED Microsensor NT LLC focuses on the development and manufacturing of LEDs and photodiodes for the middle infrared range (1.6 - 5 um), so methane detection is only one of many applications realisable with the help of our optoelectronic devices.
