A proven Team – Wind warning system for all events

Recently the Wilh. LAMBRECHT (Germany) has extended their product portfolio by a new wind warning device. The small and compact WWS provides an enormous extent of functionality for the wind warning.

In conjunction with the wind speed sensor INDUSTRY the WWS offers an extra lot of safety, reliability and functions. To detect a broken wire or a missing sensor signal is already standard for this team.

Both relay-outputs can individually be configured with regard to hysteresis threshold or windows thresholds, mode of action by working current or by quiescent current as well as turn-on delay-time and turn-of delay time. All these parameters are stored in non-volatile memory which enables the WWS to work properly also after a power failure. The integrated analogous outputs allow cascading any number of WWS; in this way it is possible to realize easily four, six, eight, etc. thresholds. By means of a logical connection of two WWS wind-direction-dependent warnings are even possible.

A wind monitoring and -warning for an increased safety on construction sites, for cranes, harbour terminals, building cradles or building automation is easy and flexible with the new WWS. In combination with the special cold climate wind sensor PROF IX 2.0 the WWS is the perfect wind warning set for cable railways in high mountains.
