The SPD-600 from Kyoto (Japan) is an automatic sample preparation system for dioxins contaminated in various environmental samples, such as flue gas, fly ash and bottom ash. Crude extract of hexane solution is purified and substituted for DMSO solution, automatically, and a prepared sample can be used in not only DXS-600 Dioxin Biosensor but also in various kinds of bioassay technique.

The SPD-600 offers: Quick and Automated processing (Improve processing time shorter after setting a sample to prepare DMSO solution for immunoassay.), High Reliability (Clean-up method conforms to JIS. All processes are automated without any human error involved), Simple and Low cost (Main consumable are solvents (Hexane, DMSO), column and nitrogen gas only. Simply set the column, solvents and crude extract. Later steps are automatically processed with less solvent than required by JIS. Up to 3 samples can be processed concurrently) and Higher Safety (Dioxins are processed within the column with least waste liquid without any risk to contaminate)
