The first edition of GEO2, the Sustainable Development Trade Fair, will take place at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre from November 4th – 7th. Its aim is to further positive developments in this sector in terms of businesses, public institutions and society at large.
GEO2, will feature a large number of firms present at an event divided into the following sectors: renewables based on offshore and inland wind farms, solar thermoelectric and photovoltaic power, hydraulic and geothermal power; in addition, ecodesign, construction, sustainable tourism and transport, efficient forest management, bioversity, remediation of contamined soil, power generation and distribution among others.
Likewise, GEO2 will address environmental & energy problems, as well
as a large number of highly significant issues in the areas of economy and society; it will extend its committment with regard to companies characterised by a high degree of environmental awareness at a venue
where exchanges will take place during the “Innovation and Business Forum†with a view to accessing new markets.
