GASEX spectrometers, from Arcoptix, have been designed for low maintenance, simple, and reliable operation even in harsh environments. Due to its’ lightweight construction (13 KG for the portable unit, 3.8 KG for the OEM version), compact form (450 x 320 x 280 mm for the portable unit, 380 x 180 x 120 mm for the OEM version), robustness and high reliability GASEX is ideal for field measurements, including mobile operation (submarine, vessel, road-vehicle, airplane) applications. GASEX also makes a handy companion in laboratories for any user in a need of fast response on-line gas analysis.  A GASEX is simple to use, the first spectrum is obtained within minutes after unpacking. This versatile instrument offers a resolution of 2 cm-1 , a spectral range of 2-12 microns (830 – 5000 cm-1) and can operate autonomously, in situ for up to 8 hours.
