Systronik have already transformed measurement of flow rate and temperature directly at water taps with their FlowTemp® ST. Their new FlowTemp® STx has taken its place with further advancements.

The FlowTemp® STx measures the temperature (°C) and the volume flow (l/min) simultaneously. The new optimised sensor technology enables even faster and more precise temperature measurement. With the free EuroSoft® live app the FlowTemp® STx connects via Bluetooth to the operator’s smartphone or tablet. On these devices the measured values can be conveniently visualised, processed and converted into measurement logs. The recording and documentation of temperature profiles and associated water quantities is a trend-setting feature of the FlowTemp® STx in conjunction with the app.

The FlowTemp® STx displays its full potential, for example, in risk analysis of drinking water systems: The risk analysis represents a modern approach to determining the level of provision of drinking water supplies for the consumers and the safety of the whole drinking water supply system. The instrument determines the water temperatures after a certain amount of water flow or after defined times. The FlowTemp STx is also used for thermal disinfection to prevent legionella. Legionella bacteria is often found in water pipes and they can cause legionellosis in people with weak immune systems. The FlowTemp STx’s offers protection form this bacteria which is vital in hospitals, retirement homes or hotels as well as private homes. With the FlowTemp® STx monitoring and documentation of  measurement values is no longer a chore.
