Tailor-made Perfect Sample Gas sampling in hazardous areas to be showcased in Bahrain

11 Mar, 2025

AGT-PSG GmbH will showcase its advanced heated sample lines, which ensure accurate and reliable gas analysis in extreme and hazardous environments at the upcoming CEM Middle East Exhibition in Bahrain.

Studies have indicated that nearly 80% of gas measurement issues stem from the probe sampling system. AGT-PSG has addressed this with innovative solutions that enhance system integration, reduce errors, and improve efficiency.

The PSG Process Probe maintains temperatures of 150°C to 180°C, preventing condensation and ensuring precise measurements. Meeting ATEX regulations, it features an integrated temperature limiter for safety and a shut-off valve to prevent gas leaks.

AGT-PSG probes have the largest active filter surface available, extending operational life and reducing maintenance. Back-purging options further minimise manual intervention and downtime.

Once extracted, gas must be conveyed under controlled conditions to prevent condensation. PSG Plus Extruded ATEX 180 heated sample lines maintain temperatures up to 200°C, preventing acid dewpoint formation. Cut-to-length technology enables flexible installation, while advanced insulation reduces energy consumption by up to 25%, enhancing sustainability and cutting costs.

Gas conditioning is the final step before analysis, requiring ATEX/IECEx compliance. The PSG BCR03 ATEX Process Cooler offers safe, multi-path configurations for enhanced reliability. Nafion dryer technology, developed with PermaPure, also ensures non-electrical, selective drying that preserves gas composition while maintaining intrinsic safety.

AGT-PSG leads in emissions monitoring with innovative, safety-compliant, and energy-efficient solutions. The company enhances measurement reliability by optimising probe sampling, gas transport, and conditioning while reducing maintenance and energy costs.
