Cutting-Edge Gas Sampling Solutions to be showcased at CEM 2025 in Ljubljana

04 Aug, 2025

At the upcoming CEM – Emissions & Air Quality Monitoring Exhibition in Ljubljana, Slovenia, AGT-PSG GmbH will present its latest innovations in heated sample lines and gas analysis technology, designed for precise and reliable measurements even in the harshest industrial environments.

In 2025, AGT-PSG celebrates 50 years of innovation in gas analysis. Founded in 1975, the company has evolved into a global technology leader. A recent milestone includes the opening of its new, state-of-the-art headquarters in Hochheim am Main, Germany.

Research shows that up to 80% of gas analysis errors originate in the probe sampling system. AGT-PSG has tackled this challenge with integrated solutions that streamline system performance, reduce failure points, and increase operational efficiency.

At the heart of this approach is the PSG Process Probe, which operates at temperatures between 150°C and 180°C to prevent condensation and ensure accuracy. Fully compliant with ATEX standards, the probe features a built-in temperature limiter for safety and an integrated shut-off valve to prevent gas leakage. With the largest active filter surface on the market, the probe offers extended service life and minimal maintenance. Optional back-purging capabilities further reduce manual intervention and downtime.

Following extraction, it is crucial to transport the gas sample under stable thermal conditions to preserve its composition. The PSG Plus Extruded ATEX 180 heated sample lines maintain internal temperatures up to 200°C, effectively preventing acid dew point condensation. Their cut-to-length design allows for flexible installation, while improved insulation technology lowers energy consumption by up to 25%—enhancing both sustainability and cost efficiency.

In the final stage before analysis, proper gas conditioning is essential. The PSG BCR03 ATEX Process Cooler supports safe and flexible multi-path configurations and ensures compliance with ATEX/IECEx regulations. For gas drying, AGT-PSG leverages advanced Nafion dryer technology, developed in collaboration with PermaPure, which enables selective, non-electrical drying while preserving gas integrity and ensuring intrinsic safety.

With a comprehensive portfolio of safety-compliant, energy-efficient, and performance-driven technologies, AGT-PSG continues to lead in emissions monitoring. By optimising gas sampling, transport, and conditioning processes, the company delivers higher measurement reliability with lower maintenance requirements and energy usage.
