The BWS i-Specâ„¢spectrophotometer series enables fast spectral capturing of 20 to >100 spectra per second, making these products ideal for spectrophotometric studies where a high spectrum capture rate is essential. Applications include agricultural, pharmaceutical, and petrochemical spectral analysis, material spectral diffuse property characterizations, opaque chemical solution analysis and both bench-top and field spectrophotometric measurements.
i-Spec models are diffuse transmittance/reflectance spectrophotometers with built-in integrating spheres or fibre-optic remote probes, and are offered with other sampling accessory options for bench-top or portable applications.
The UV-SNIR and NIR models employ TE cooled CCD array detectors (200-1050 nm), InGaAs array (920-1700 nm), and PbS array (1100-2900 nm) detection systems, respectively for optimal UV, Vis, and NIR measurement sensitivity and dynamic range to be achieved.
The i-Spec products use high intensity and long lifetime illumination sources, and high speed detection systems.
Provided by Pacer with a USB 1.1/2.0 interface for plug-and-play connectivity, and Windows-based operating software with OCX interface to major chemometrics software packages, the systems are extremely user-friendly.
The new B&W Tek product catalog is available from Pacer.
