Almost every important topic relating to gas detection and analysis will be covered by over 80 free workshops taking place at MCERTS 2009 on 29th and 30th April.

MCERTS 2009 will run over two days at the Bretby Conference Centre, Staffs and adopt a similar format to previous events with an exhibition, conference and workshops featuring almost all of the world’s leading suppliers of monitoring equipment and services.

Workshop titles include ‘New Developments in Multi-Gas Continuous Emissions Monitoring using FTIR’, ‘UKAS Accreditation of Odour Sampling’ and ‘Gas Mixture Certification and Accreditation’. With mercury monitoring as a theme, Quantitech has arranged for experts from the USA and Finland to run workshops on mercury sampling/analysis and continuous mercury monitoring. A wide variety of regulatory requirements and monitoring standards will also be addressed during the workshops, including LCPD, WID, EN14181, EN15267 and OMA.

More than 60 exhibitors will be attending MCERTS 2009, offering help and advice on the monitoring of air quality in emissions, the workplace and within processes. Both Air Liquide and Ashtead Technology will launch new instrumentation catalogues and a number of new products will be on show including for example, the a1-cbiss portable G52M FID VOC analyser.

Registration for MCERTS 2009 costs £55/day which includes free entry to the main conference, free entry to all workshops and the exhibition, in addition to free parking, free lunch and refreshments. To register visit www.mcerts.uk.com
